About Me

My name is Monica Messaggi Kaya and, at the moment, I am a Software Engineer that have many interests in life.

I'm currently doing my Posgraduate Diploma in Software and Systems Security and working towards my MSc in Software Engineering.

Interests

In general, I am a person that likes to learn many things to broad my skills and vision. The downside of it is that learning many tools/subjects doesn't make you specialist (deep knowledge) in any specific subject.

On the personal side, I like meditation, yoga, light reading, soothing music and feng shui. I also enjoy reading many fiction books and watching movies, which can be also varied, from Drama to Romance, Action to Suspense and all the 'in between'.

Portfolio

As a quick reference: I've been working with Computer Based Training and websites for quite some time. Many of my skills were built as each project was developed, and my main background is in Computer Science / Programming.

My interest in design came naturally, but having some asthetics knowledge and a strong will is not always enough.

During the past years, I came in touch wih many tools that helped the development process, speed up the delivery and final result.
